on tuesday we went to the world food program headquarters in rome

i left feeling both encouraged & discouraged

i'm thankful that the world food program is willing to take on such a huge task
the work they're doing makes a big impact

sometimes it's hard for me to remember how much good is being done when there is so much left to be done

we've been learning our italian with a game called "free rice"
with each answer you get right 10 grains of rice are donated to wfp

afterwards we visited Tirelli
a huge theater & cinema costume workshop

15,000+ pieces

costumes from the movie troy

some costumes pulled aside for a play

andrea sorrentino gave us a tour
he came to give a lecture the next day in ariccia

i learned about high end fashion
giovanni, armani, and others

i heard she's famous
neat, huh?
